Mr. & Mrs. Vasques are house flippers in Newport, Kentucky. The house they recently purchased had a leaking roof. They needed a roofing company that could replace to roof fast with roofing materials that would last for years to come.
Our sales team was booked out for a couple of days. Mr. and Mrs. Vasques emphasized the importance of a quick turnaround on their roof replacement. Michael Schaeffer, the owner of the company, happened to have some availability in his schedule. To help the homeowner accommodate their time constraints, Michael agreed to meet them the same day. Michael was able to inspect the property and get an estimate to the homeowners the same day.
Upon his inspection, Michael found a lot of wood rot in the sheathing. All of that roofing material needed replacement. We would also need to replace the facia wood, shingles, and underlayment, and install new aluminum drip metal on all eaves of the roof deck.
Mr. and Mrs. Vasques decided to move forward with us for several reasons. We accommodated their timing, we finished replacing the roof quickly, and we have a transferable warranty on our work. Since they are house flippers, that transferable warranty was very important.

The sheathing you see in the corner here is old and rotten in places. As you can see there are also lots of gaps between the wood. Those large gaps are not compliant with the roofing code. To keep the wood up to code we needed to replace the material with plywood sheathing
Once the wood was replaced we installed our underlayment.
The roof replacement is now complete and up to code. The Vasques family is now able to finish their interior repairs so they can sell the house.
