During the inspection, our specialist walked her through every step of the process and eased all concerns about her unusual roofing issue. To accommodate a curved roofline, we used IKO's Nordic shingles in Brownstone—specially engineered to bend around contours without compromising durability. These shingles are Class 4 impact rated, offering top-tier protection against wind and hail. Our crew began by removing all existing shingles and underlayment, then verified the roof deck was in solid condition. We installed Sealoron deck tape over all plywood seams for added weather resistance, followed by our KRS Sealoron XT Premium Ice & Water Shield and KRS Velora One synthetic underlayment. Once prepped, we installed the Nordic shingles using HD galvanized steel coil nails, along with aluminum edging and Geocel 4500 sealant to complete the system.
