A powerful wind storm had damaged this property's roof in Batavia, OH. When our inspector when out to examine, he noted that multiple taps on the dimensional shingles had blown off. This damage was enough for insurance to cover the claim, so we went ahead and devised a contract for our 50 year - no leak warranty roof replacement. The homeowner signed the contract, and we replaced the roof within a couple months. We started the replacement process by taking off all the existing shingles and throwing them into a dumpster. During this process, we made sure to tarp the yard to contain all the debris. We then inspected the decking for any damage, and replaced any wood that wasn't up to code. We then taped the decking at the seams and installed our two underlayments. After that, we installed our IKO Dynasty AR laminated shingles. We finished the project by sealing the roof, tweaking some of the trimming, and added some new flashing. This project relieved the homeowner of worries about wind damage, and now the homeowner can look forward to 50 years of a leak free roof.
