Here we are stripping the existing roof for the dad back in 2024. We make sure to use tarps to gather all the debris, keeping the home safe from litter.

Here we are replacing all the OSB boards that weren't up to code on the decking. We then taped the decking at all the seams with our waterproof tape. We then installed our two underlayments over the decking. The white underlayment is our Ice & Water shield that glues onto the decking. This glue helps us create a waterproof seal around the nails we use to install the shingles over it. For this reason, we install our Ice & Water shield at all the most vulnerable areas on the roof, (6 feet up and away from all edges). Our tan underlayment also seen in this picture is our synthetic felt.

Here we are installing our shingles over the underlayments. These shingles are heavy & thick, which allows us to make sure they lay flat when we install them. They also have a wider nailing zone, which allows us to move quickly.
