This gambrel-style home was showing its age with worn, brittle shingles and outdated metalwork. The homeowner reached out for a full roof replacement and chose Driftshake IKO Dynasty shingles, giving the home a deeper, more modern look while maintaining its classic character.
Our crew installed crisp white drip edge metal and hand-fashioned custom flashing to seal the unique dome at the top of the roof—a detail that required real craftsmanship and problem-solving on-site.
The job was financed through GreenSky, allowing the homeowner to move forward without delay. Now, with a fresh roof system and tight, clean lines around every edge and slope, this home not only looks better—it’s better protected and built to last, no matter the season.
We use the best materials and apply them with the best people. The result of this equation is a roof that will last for years over expectancy! Just take a look at this roof we replaced! On top of having some of the highest graded shingles, they also look beautiful! Give us a call today for a free quote!
We replaced certain roofing sections on this house. The owner only wanted that section done, so we agreed to take care of it. this existing roof had 2 layers of shingles, which can actually speed up the process of roof damage by trapping more heat than it should plan for. After we stripped two layers of shingles, we placed 15 overlay boards over the sheathing. We then placed down our IKO Stormshield Ice & Water adhesive membrane two feet up from the bottom of the house roof and everywhere on the porch roof, and then we placed Tri-Built synthetic underlayment everywhere else. Then we installed IKO Dynasty shingles in a granite black shade all over the roof, including the hips and ridges. For the final details, we installed step flashing, apron flashing, IKO edges, and ACM aluminum rake edges.
The overhanging trees over this roof were causing some issues for the roof. They were shedding "helicopter seeds" and were providing too much shade to the roof. The shade was accelerating moss growth, and the seeds were getting stuck in the shingles and gutters. We trimmed the trees back to combat these problems and to be able to properly install the roof without any obstacles. We replaced the roof the "Klaus Roofing Way" with IKO shingles in a Frostone shade.
