When we do any type of roofing work, we make sure to clean up after. We also make sure that all the little details match what we agreed upon with the customer. These two points of emphasis make us one of the highest rated roofing companies in the Cincinnati area. You'd be surprised at how many other roofing companies take these two rules for granted. Not us though.
This roof in Piqua, Ohio was in need of a total replacement, as most of the shingles has become ineffective at protecting the home from weather. We came out to give a free inspection, and told them we could work with their insurance company if they wanted to file a claim. They agreed that they should file a claim, and the rest was history. We replaced their roof The Klaus Roofing Way, which means this roof was built to outlast all other roofs.
For this roof replacement, we tried to match the existing roofs color as much as possible. We have many different shades and colors, so matching a color is not very hard for us. We also improved the ventilation system on this roof by widening the vents on the peak. This roof will surely last a long, long time for these homeowners in Troy.
This home's existing roof was in a pretty bad condition. There were two layers of shingles, resulting in excessive amounts of moisture and heat being trapped under the roof. We also knew we were going to have to remove all the decking upon inspecting the inside of the attic, as the decking had weakened from the moisture and the shear weight of the two layers. We prepared the demo by laying down tarping all around the home, knowing this was going to be a messy removal. After the demo we replaced the roof pretty easily, of course done the Klaus roofing way. After the new roof was installed, we walked around the home to make sure the tarping didn't leave any trash by accident. The result is a pretty new roof with new accessories, that will be sure to last very long.
Replacing this domed roof in Goshen, OH, was harder to replace than an average home, but it was very fun! After stripping the shingles and revealing the decking, we noticed a couple spots on the decking that needed replacing. After replacing parts of the decking, we then installed our underlayments and shingles. We used our IKO Nordic shingles, which are class 4 rated against wind & hail, because the curves needed extra strong protection. After a couple days the project was completed, and the homeowner was very pleased. Alas, a new domed roof!
