Josh temporarily secured the area with protective tarping and walked the homeowner through their options. Rather than patching the damage now and replacing the aging two layers of shingles later, Josh recommended a full roof replacement to avoid future costs and complications. The homeowner agreed.

We removed both layers of shingles, repaired the underlying damage, and installed a brand-new roofing system using IKO Dynasty shingles in Summit Gray, paired with clean white drip edge metal for a fresh, modern finish. We replaced this skylight for an apartment building in Cincinnati, OH. We used a 98" x 98" clear over clear acrylic dome skylight from Corken Steel Manufacturing. The clear over clear style allows for the maximum amount of sunlight and visibility. We made sure to seal the skylight at all the seams to ensure it won’t leak.
