We went out to Lawrenceburg, Indiana, in order to repair this storm damaged roof. We replaced all the old shingles with our IKO Dynasty AR Granite Black shingles. We replaced the roof on this gambrel style home in West Harrison, IN, because the existing roof had became compromised from storm damage. When we replaced it, we made sure to loop the customer in on everything we planned to install to make sure the roof lasts as long as possible. The existing roof actually had a section that had collapsed from storm damage. There was a rather large hole that went straight into their living room, and the homeowner had to put up tarps for the time being. We made sure to act swiftly to get a new roof installed, so they won't have to worry any longer. A lot of people underestimate how important a roof is for deflecting rain and wind away from a home. We made sure to replace the decking that had collapsed or otherwise received water damage, and then we replaced the roof. We made sure to install underlayments that will help the shingles tremendously, and we installed IKO Dynasty AR shingles in a Summit Gray shade.

This section of the roof that we replaced does not receive much light. This was causing moss and algae to grow, and even stubborn weeds in their gutters. When we replaced this roof, we made sure this section recieved the proper care it deserved, as it was the section most susceptible to damage. We gave it the proper care by replacing the decking underneath this section with adequate wood specifications, installing proper weather-resistant underlayments, and very secure flashings. We topped it off with our IKO shingles in an Atlantic Blue shade.
