This roof was old and had water intrusions. We replaced it The Klaus Roofing Way.
Unfortunately, the home seen here had succumbed to the effects of aging. Missing shingles, discolored shingles, water leaks, and warped sheathings was enough cause for concern. We replaced the roof The Klaus Roofing Way by cleanly stripping the shingles, replacing all ineffective sheathing, properly installing weather-resistant underlayments, and nailing all the shingles down flatly. The result was a happy homeowner who gained some peace of mind.
This building holds some offices for a company that does some contracting work, so they were pretty aware of what a good roofing job looks like. Pressure or no pressure, we're going to build the roof the right way. After we stripped the existing roof down to the decking, we noticed a couple spots that could use some replacing. We then installed our underlayments and finished by installing IKO Dynasty AR shingles in a Shadow Brown shade. We also added some details by installing perma boots, flashes, edges, and exhaust vents.
A recent storm had brought this roof to its demise by puncturing many holes through it. After the homeowners gave us a call, we sent out an emergency service team to make sure the holes got covered before another storm could damage the roof any further. Upon installing a new roof, we made sure to get the foundation right by replacing most of the sheathing. We also made sure that the roof was sealed nice and tight by making sure the accessories were installed correctly. The result of the new roof is a safe home!
This smaller home was in need of a roof replacement because the shingles were old and the view from inside the attic showed some bad signs. We started by stripping the shingles down to the sheathing plywood. We then replaced one part of the roof's sheathing, because it wasn't up to code. We then started laying down our Tri-Built synthetic underlayment, along with our IKO Stormshield Ice & Water membrane. We then added our IKO Dynasty shingles in a granite black color. We also added a duo stat thermostat for humidity control for the power attic ventilators.
